Christmas Delights.
As a little girl we always had a live tree. I can
still smell those trees if I close my eyes. I loved the look of them and the
feel and the smell. Actually sometimes they were a bit prickly and pricked my
fingers when hanging the ornaments. We have 4 children and they have enjoyed
some live trees including the fun of going out and cutting our own. Over the
last several years though we have resorted to having an artificial tree. My sister and her huband own a Christmas tree farm so they always have live trees of ourse. A coupole of years ago they brought me a live baby tere that I decorated and put on the front porch.
We got our tree up early this year and I thought it was done. Our youngest
though, a 4th grade boy who is adorable I might add has been asking for a tree
in the family room, not just the living room. Tonight I agreed and my husband
brought down our other artificial tree. I said though in a spontaneious move,
let's go look at live ones. So Matt, hubby and I went in search of the tree. We
brought it home and will decorate it tomorrow evening. It smells good!
Here is our good smelling three. I'll show it to you after we decorate it as well.
